Many family and official records and notes record her name as Abbie. Some records also have her middle name as Celeste.
In the 1870 Census she is living in Linton Township, Allamakee County, Iowa with her parents.
In the 1880 Census she is living with her husband and a brother-in-law in Fairmont, Martin County, Minnesota, page 172B.
In 1883 at Waukon, Allamakee County, Iowa she was baptized into Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (RLDS) by Elder Rudolph Etzenhouser and confirmed by I. N. White and R. Etzenhouser..
On 28 March 1883 in a letter to The Saints Herald publication, she indicates they are living in Volney, Iowa and the closest railroad station is Monona and the Freemans could be found by inquiring for David McGoon (her father).
In 1888 the Freemans were associated with the Independence RLDS old Brick Church and the new Stone Church as documented in the April 17, 1988 Centennial Celebration.
In 1900 census she is living with her third husband George E. Hartwell at Deerhorn, Wilkin County, Minnesota. The children include; David, Carl, and Roy Freeman, Leo Applegarth, and Blanche and Edward Hartwell.
In 1910 census she is living with her third husband George E. Hartwell at Rogers Township, Barnes County, North Dakota with her daughter and three sons.
In 1920 census she is living with her husband at Rogers Township, Barnes County, North Dakota, dwelling #9 with her daughter Audrey, son Leo Applegarth and Leo's wife and son.
In 1930 census she and her daughter Audrey are living in Misahawka, St. Joseph County, Indiana with her son Carl B. Freeman and his family Carl's mother-in-law.

Death
She died in the home of her daughter Audrey Mary HARTWELL Beavan after about four months of intense suffering from cancer. The funeral was by Reverend A. M. Halford. State of Missouri Death Certificate #38132.
Burial
The newspaper obituary states she was buried in the cemetery near Brushyknob, MO. In May 2002 the sign for the cemetery reads "Brushyknob Church Cemetery." Brushyknob is located on local highway 76, northeast of Ava, MO..Endnotes
