Henry J. DEARDORFF
(7 March 1762 - 20 December 1844)
Per Bob Langdon, 1996, In Chester Peter's book, page 15, he list children as Elizabeth and Jacob. Due to the fact that we have 3 Henry's in VA., this lead's to confusion. Children by these two had guardians appointed in 1792. If that is the case then Henry died prior to 1792 and could not have been married to that Margaret and Edna. Peter had a son Henry 1511 and that is who is married to Margaret and Edna.

According to Bob Langdon, and census records, Henry must have gone to Ohio between 1823 and 1825.
Thomas and Rebecah Watson sold land to Henry in Green CO., Ohio., 16 June 1831, Ceaser Creek Twp.
Died at the age of 82-9-13.
Per Laura Hanks, in Aug. of 1990, address: 2701 Venture View, Palestine, TX. 75801. Has since died. (1998) . Ages agree from censuses of Henry's children from 1810 to 1840, but disagrees from 1850 to 1880. Family not found in the 1830 census, except for John Deardorff and the widow of Jacob Dearduff.
From Misc. notes on the Dierdorff Family, Riley County Genealogical Society, Manhattan, KS., says Henry was born in Bedford, VA.
