Death
CONCORD — Clyde Dixon Furr, 56, died Tuesday at Cabarrus Memorial hospital. Funeral Thursday at 4 p.m. at Bible Presbyterian church. Survivors: his wife; his father, George Furr of Kannapolis; a brother, George Furr Jr. of Kannapolis; five sisters, Mrs. Raymond Jarvis of Concord, Mrs. Ralph Elwood of Kannapolis, Mrs. Marian Brunette of Kannapolis, Mrs. John Yow of Stanfield, Mrs. Boyd Mills of Baltimore, Md.; a half-sister, Mrs. Herman Combs of Baltimore, Md.; two children, Mrs. Johnson Hagler of Concord and Mrs. Howard Sherrill of Kannapolis.The Charlotte Observer, Charlotte, North Carolina, August 7, 1957
