Death
Margie Furr Hatley, age 89, of 522 Uwharrie St., Asheboro died Thursday, December 20, 2007 at her home. Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 23, 2007at 3:00 pm at Mt. View Independent Methodist Church, 1530 Mt. View Church Rd., Asheboro with Rev. David Hunt officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery. Mrs. Hatley was a native of Stanly County and a member of Mt. View Independent Methodist Church. She was formerly employed with Mar-Mac Hosiery, Acme Hosiery Mills and was co-owner of Hatley Lathe Shop. Mrs. Hatley was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Hatley, daughter-in-law, Emily Hatley and great grandson, John Miller. She is survived by son, Jerry Hatley; grandson and his wife, Jay and Johnell Hatley granddaughter and her husband, Krista and Richard Trotter, granddaughter and her husband, Jennifer and Harvey Miller; great grandchildren, Lisa, Trey, Lane and Jason Hatley, Ricky and Matthew Trotter, Kevin and Dalton Miller and Alex Dixon all of Asheboro, NC The family will receive friends Saturday, December 22, 2007 from 7 to 9 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC.Endnotes
