Death
ASHEBORO - Grady Hatley, 77, of 522 Uwharrie St., died Tuesday, Jan. 31, 1995 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. today at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Darrell Frye officiating and burial to follow in Oaklawn Cemetery. He was owner-operator of Hatley Lathe Shop, a native of Stanley County, and a former employee of L Ranch Shop Furniture Company. Survivors include his wife, Margie Hatley of the home; son, Jerry Hatley of Asheboro; sisters, Grace Comer, Vera Samuels, Mary Helms, all of Albemarle, and Ethel Carpenter of High Point; three grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.Endnotes
