Death
CLINTON — P.C. Furr, 81, of Route 1, Lydia Road, died Wednesday at Bailey Memorial Hospital following a short illness. He was born in Albemarle, N.C., a son of the late Henry Clinton and Abigail Hubson Furr. He was a retired employee of Hallmark Shirt Co. Surviving are a son, L. Ray Furr of Rockledge, Fla. two daughters, Misses Patricia Ann and Barbara Alberta Furr of New Orleans, La.; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 5 p.m. Friday at Rosemont Cemetery. The body is at Gray Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight.The Index-Journal, Greenwood, South Carolina, September 27, 1979
