Death
ASHEBORO — Mrs. Blanche F. Cross, 53, of Inwood Road died Sunday at her home. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Wesleyan Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. A.J. Kendrick and the Rev. Leroy Cox officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery. A native of South Carolina, she had lived in Randolph County most of her life. She was employed by Stedman Manufacturing Co. in the finishing department. Surviving are husband, Roy Cross; son, Tommy Cross of the home; mother, Mrs. Lillian Furr of Asheboro. Memorials may be made to the church’s building fund or to a favorite charity.News and Record, Greensboro, North Carolina, August 28, 1978
