Death
Funeral services for Andrew Lee Furr, 89, of Cedar Hill, who died Friday in a Dallas hospital, were held at 2 p.m. today at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with the Rev. Eddie Hicks officiating. Interment was in Ridgeview Memorial Park with Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in charge. He was born July 19, 1895 in North Carolina, the son of Mr. and Mrs. J.M. Furr, and married Geralden Newland in 1930. He was a retired farmer. Survivors include his wife of Cedar Hill; two sons, Andrew Lee Furr, Jr., Calif.; Edward Furr, Cedar Hill; one daughter, Irene Howard, Garland; one sister, Mrs. Ruby Wood, McKinney; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.The Courier-Gazette, McKinney, Texas, December 10, 1984
