Death
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. at the Horn - Harris - Crouch Funeral Home Chapel for Mrs. Hattie Ragsdale, 82, of Eastland. She was born Sept. 21, 1888 in Stanley County N. C. and she died Saturday morning in Cisco. She was the daughter of the late James Furr and Martha Dry Furr. Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Claudia T. Hays of Eastland, three sisters, Mrs. E.L. Wood of McKinney, Mrs. Iler Jenkins of McKinney and Mrs. Eugene Bryant of Allen; six brothers, F.J. Furr of Frisco, John A. Furr of McKinney, Robert N. Furr of McKinney, H.L. Furr of Ennis, Clarence Furr of Rhea Mills, and DeeWitt Furr of Dallas; one granddaughter and one great-granddaughter. The Rev. Ross Bourland and the Rev. G.B. Bradshaw officiated and burial was in the Pecan Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jackie Woods, Raymond Furr, Everett Furr, Jack Furr, Roy Jenkins and Malcom Furr.The Courier-Gazette, McKinney, Texas, May 17, 1971
