Cedar Hill, Texas - Mrs. Geralden Furr, age 98, of Cedar Hill, Texas passed away on November 17, 2004 in Cedar Hill. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, November 19, 2004, at Ridgeview Memorial Park with Rev. Edward Rixs officiating. She was born on November 2, 1906 in Oklahoma to Joe Dick and Dela Mae (Yarbror) Newland. She married Andrew Lee Furr in 1930 in Durant, Oklahoma. Mrs. Furr was a seamstress and was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her children, Irene Wells of Garland, Texas and Edward Furr and wife, Joyce of Cedar Hill, Texas; 5 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and many step grandchildren. Mrs. Furr was preceded in death by her husband; grandson; 6 sisters and 3 brothers. Visitation will be from 11:00 to 12:00 PM, Friday prior to the service at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.Endnotes
