TUNICA — Services for Sam Allen Furr, 74, who died Thursday at Tunica County Hospital, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Berea Baptist Church. Mr. Furr, a retired farmer, leaves his wife, Mrs. Birdie Furr; seven daughters, Mrs. Cleveland Parker of Dundee, Mrs. Edgar Welch of Holcomb, Mrs. Hurlon Franks of Edwardsburg, Mich., Mrs. Enos Chambers and Mrs. Sam Chambers, both of Southaven, Mrs. Wiley Chambers of Tunica and Mrs. Burdell Mixon of Greenville; two sons, Ernest Furr of Tunica and Jimmy Furr of Pope; a brother, Richard Bullimore of Sarah; and a sister, Mrs. Wilford Spencer of Tunica.
