Death
Sammie J. Franks Epps Funeral services for Mrs. Sammie J. Franks 83 of Epps, LA will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at the Epps Baptist Church with Bro. Jimmy Furr officiating. Mrs. Franks was a retired Line Worker for a Pharmaceutical Plant. She is preceded in death by her parents, Sam Furr and May Birde Crawley Furr; her husband Hurlon Franks, a son Jerry Franks, two daughters Cathy Jean Franks and Jackie Franks; three sisters Marion Parker, Earline Chambers, Elizabeth Welch and a brother Curtis Furr. She is survived by three sons, Floyd Franks & wife Linda and Loyd Franks & wife Rita both of Edwardsburg, MI and Billy Ray Franks & wife Peggy of Greenville, MS; fifteen grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; three sisters, Blanch Mixon of Greenville, MS, Edna Chambers and Martha Chambers both of Southhaven, MS; two brothers Ernest "Sonny" Furr of Tunica, MS and Jimmy Furr of Huntington, TN and numerous nieces and nephews.Endnotes
