Individual Details
James Pink "Jim" FURR
(27 Dec 1902 - 12 Feb 1963)
Shown as James P. Bullimore in 1910 census.
Beverly Ann Jackson states, "Jim Furr was son of Julius Pink Furr and Sallie Green. Parents did not marry until 1920, but lived next door to each other from about 1900 to 1910. Sallie Greens previous husband was Joseph Bullimore. It is thought that he probably died before 1900. There is no record of his death. Sallie said children's last names were "Bullimore" because that was her married name. All children born about 1900 and 1910 were Furrs. They were illegitimate. I am Rose Furr's granddaughter and I remember Jim Furr."
