Homer "Rex" Aycock

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Tulia First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jesse Hodge, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery by Wallace Funeral Home. Mr. Aycock was born in Bell County and moved to Tulia in 1929. He was involved in farming, real estate and insurance. He was a member of Tulia First United Methodist Church and the Tulia Volunteer Fire Department. He was a York Rite Mason and a 50-year member of Tulia Masonic Ledge 733 AF&AM.
He married Luella Woodward in 1932 at Portales. She died in April. Survivors include two sons, Robert Rex Aycock of Lubbock and Charles Franklin Aycock of Farwell; four sisters, Lucille Wood, Eunice McPherson, Opal Harris and Ernestine Beecher, all of Lubbock; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. The family requests memorials be to a favorite charity.
