Ukiah Daily Journal, Ukiah, California, Friday, September 13, 1963, Page 1, Col. 3: Grace Fulkerson Dies in Modesto; Services Monday. Mrs. Grace Fulkerson, widow of the former principal of Ukiah high school, died early this morning in a Modesto hospital after a long illness.
Mrs. Fulkerson, who lived in Ukiah for more than 40 years and for 13 of those years served as a county welfare department supervisor, was the widow of Charles Fulkerson, for 26 years the principal of Ukiah high school before his death in 1948.
Mrs. Fulkerson has been educated at Berea College, Ky., and at Santa Barbara State.
Survivors include two sons, Dr. Ronald Fulkerson of Oakdale and Harold Fulkerson, San Rafael.
Services will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. from the chapel of Zimmerman Mortuary. Inurnment will be made in the Chapel of the Chimes, Santa Rosa. The family has indicated that donations in Mrs. Fulkerson's name may be made to the Heart and Cancer fund.
