Shepherd on grounds of cruel and inhuman treatment; asks custody of two minor children and that defendant pay for support of same. Temporary alimony of $75 per month and a like amount as permanent alimony is asked. The Shepherds were married at Oewlwein, Feb. 7, 1923.

Richard Earl was a Chicago Great Western Railroad engineer. As a railroad workers union representative, he traveled from Chicago to Iowa and visited the children after the divorce from Elsie. He was a member of the Masons.
