Obituary of Georgia M. Biddle, from Cecil Whig, November 12, 2001, page A9: Georgia M. Biddle, age 93, of North East, Maryland, died Saturday in Union Hospital of Cecil County. She was born in Virginia on November 4, 1908 and was the daughter of the late William Floyd Shepherd and Sarah Lucille Hayes Shepherd. Mrs. Biddle was a homemaker. She was a member of North East United Methodist Church, North East, Maryland. Mrs. Biddle was preceded in death by her husband, Hayes H. Biddle, who died May 29, 1986. She is survived by her nieces, Wilma Vant Hoff, Wilmington, Delaware and Joan Gail McKinney, Anniston, Alabama. Private graveside services will be held November 13, 2001 in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, Maryland. Rev. Boyd B. Etter, North East United Methodist Church, North East, Maryland will officiate. Arrangements handled by Crouch Funeral Home, North East, Maryland.
