Mrs. W. H. Putnam

Mrs. W.H. Putnam, 78, 2118 Biaisdell Ave, Minneapolis, formerly of Little Falls, died this morning at 5:30. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:30 at the Welander-Quist West Chapel, 2307 Dupont Ave, South, Minneapolis. Graveside services will be at 3:30 pm at Big Lake.
Mrs. Putnam, whose maiden name was Minnie Hatch, was married to William H. Putnam in Buffalo January 18, 1893. They settled in Little Falls in 1910 and lived here until Mr. Putnam's death December 11, 1945. Since his death Mrs. Putnam has spent most of her time in Minneapolis.
During her long years of residence in Little Falls she was an active worker in the First Baptist church.
Surviving are the following children, Mrs. Henry C. Johnson, Chicago. Mrs. Ed Meyers and Floyd E. Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, Mrs. Herbert Klotz, Wayzata, Mrs. John Gaudet, Montreal, Can., Mrs. Alvin Eckblad, Minneapolis, Dr. W.S. Putnam, St. Cloud, Sidney U., St Paul, and John S., Hopkins.
A brother, Chester Hatch, lives in Sand Point, Idaho. There are 30 grandchildren.
