DIED. -- At her home in Monticello town, Jan. 8th, 1895, of pneumonia, Ada Hatch, wife of John Hatch.

Her maiden name was Stuart. She was born at South China, Maine, Feb. 22nd, 1850, and when five years of age, came to Wright county with her parents, where she continued to reside up to the time of her death. She was united in marriage to John Hatch in February, 24 years ago, and four children, two boys and two girls, came to bless their union, and are now living. Her husband, children, mother, two brothers and two sisters survive her and mourn her death, and all except her mother and one brother were present to take their last farewell. Funeral services were held at her home, conducted by Rev. Heard, pastor of the M. E. church at Monticello and her remains were laid to rest at the beautiful Riverside Cemetery. A very large number of neighbors and friends were present to pay their last respects to the memory of the dead and to accompany, on its last earthly journey, all that remained of their friend and neighbor, to the final home.
