ISAAC AVERY
Issac Avery, 73, of Virginia, died at 10:15 a.m. February 12 at Beardstown Hospital.
He was born August 26, 1911 in Schuyler County, a son of William and Nora Randinger Avery. He married Katherine Stebbins, Mar 12, 1967 and she survives in Virginia.
Also surviving are seven sons: Richard of Pekin; Gary of California; Gale of the state of Virginia; Steven and Leon of Springfield; Terry and Ricky, both of Virginia; three daughters, Lisa and Melissa Avery, both of Virginia and Mrs. Wanda Neeley of Chandlerville; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild; one brother, Jim Avery of Pekin and four sisters, Metta Lashbrook, Beardstown, Mary McDaniels, Pawnee, Ruth Ragan, Brooklyn, MN, Ethyl Hill of Pekin.
Mr. Avery was a retired employee of American Distilling Co in Pekin where he was employed for 40 years.
Services were held February 15 at 2 p.m. at Sager-Northcutt Funeral Home in Beardstown with the Elder Dale Hager officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Gary Moore, Pat Murray, Lawrence McDonnald, Gordon Sampson, John Schaeffer, and Mike Deboyne.
Internment was in the Beardstown City Cemetery, Memorial are suggested to the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ, Later Day Saints.
