Joseph Dexter
(1727 - Bef 1758)
Joseph died during the life of his father. He married Mary Esten, by whom he had issue, the brothers, Joseph the oldest, and Moses, both of them surviving their father Joseph.
The old book printed in 1859 Dexter Genealogy state that Joseph had left a large estate. His two children died without issue, and much money had been expended in law suits about the property. It actually was not ever Joseph's estate since he died before his father did. The property went directly to the grandson Joseph, born about 1750. He would have been a young boy at the time.
