There is a will of a Richard Moore who died in 1717, naming children that include a Richard and a Rebecca. John Pippin also witnessed a chattel mortgage between Richard Moore & John Welch, 20 Jul 1725, Queen Anne's County, MD. Rebecca appears as the wife of John in the Holy Trinity Old Swedes Church, Wilmington Delaware, when their son Joseph was baptized. There were few Moore families and no other Richards. It is possible she was Rebecca Moore but there is no direct proof that she was so.
