A message board states that Jackson married three times, the 3rd wife was Tabitha Thomas, a daughter of Phillip & Mary Thomas.

I, Jackson Walters, of the county of Warren State of KY do hereby make my last will and Testament in manner and form following that is to say 1st After the payment of my debts and funeral expenses I give my wife Tabitha Walters one negro woman named Jane one named Sindi one negro man Henry one Waggon gear and four waggon horses farming utentials and all & every kind of stock in my possession except two Colts also all the house hold and kitchen furniture during her natural life and at her decease to be equally divided between her own children
2nd I give to my son Robert Walters five dollars
3rd I give to my daughter Frances Lewis five dollars
4th I give to Thorntain [Thornton?] Walters five dollars.
5th I give to my daughter Silitey Woody five dollars
6th I give to my son William Walters fifty dollars
7th I give to my son Washington H. Walters fifty dollars
8th all the rest of my estate of what nature or Kind soever it may be not herein before particularly disposed of I deem may be equally divided between my children hereinafter named James Walters, Louisa Tindal, George Walters and Judith Skiles which I give to them and their heirs forever and lastly I do constitute and appoint my two sons James and George Walters executors of this my last will and Testament and deem that the Court do not require security of them.
In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this 18th day of May 1843.

[Note In his will Jackson gave $5 to Robert, Frances, Thorton, and Selity - these were the four living children born to first wife Elizabeth Harrid. William & Abner had died. Sons William [the 2nd son named William since the 1st died as an infant] & Washington each received $50. These were the two surviving sons born to 2nd wife Polly West Herring - an infant named Coleman had died. The rest of his estate not previously designated was to be divided between James, Louisa, George & Judith - the four children born to the third wife Tabitha Thomas.]

Letter dated 18 Oct 1976, attached to Robert Walters in a family tree on Ancestry, refers to a Bible purchased in 1824 by Jackson Walters from Wm. Lewis for $7 Kentucky currency. There is no transcription, but the letter writer states her family line:
