Daughter of Nicholas Meriwether, Gent. by Elizabeth his wife. Baptised 3 Jul 1703.
Grandchildren that I cannot identify received gifts in the Will of Nicholas Meriwether. No doubt some of these are children of this Elizabeth. Named were granddaughter Judith Littlepage [probably daughter of Sarah & William Littlepage] and granddaughter Elizabeth Bray. Elizabeth Bray's entry was marked out and noted - [slaves] delivered to Mr. Philip Johnson, her husband.
File found on WorldConnect reveals that there were other daughters of Nicholas & Elizabeth- a daughter Sarah married (1) William Littlepage and had the child Judith. There was apparently also a daughter Mary who never married or never left issue. No further ideas for the granddaughter Elizabeth Bray.
The Anderson book states that Elizabeth Meriwether married Thomas Bray and had daughter Elizabeth who married Philip Johnson in 1743 and had several children.
