Nicholas Meriwether III

Baptised 6 Aug 1699.
Probably dead by 1721, when cousin Charles who had no direct issue made a will recognized many family members, certainly by December of 1743 when his grandfather, Nicholas Meriwether recognized his children and grandchildren in his will.
The Meriwether Society believes that Nicholas III died unmarried. In the past Mildred Thornton was said to be his wife, but land transfers have proved she was the wife of Nicholas III's nephew - the son of his older brother William, who was also named Nicholas.
