Jonathan and John were both requested to be executors of their brother Thomas when he wrote his will in February of 1812, Jefferson Co.

Notes about the Lost Creek Quaker Monthly Meeting in Jefferson Co, TN, state that between 1802 and 1820, as many as 1/3 of those leaving Lost Creek settled near the town of Economy in the northwest corner of Wayne Co IN. They established the Springfield meeting as early as 1815.

At the "Digital Library on American Slavery", I found petition, #11481738, filed to the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Tennessee, in Knoxville, in 1817. Forty-one petitioners argued that slave owners should be permitted to free their slaves on terms which will not involve them, nor their estates, for their maintenance. And they proposed a law to declare all descendants of slaves, born after the passing of the law, shall be free at a certain age which your honourable Body may fix upon. Signers to the petition included John Adamson, Jonathan Adamson, Simon Adamson Sr, and Isaac Williams.
A copy of the petition is held at the Tennessee State Library & Archives in Nashville.

I Jonathan Adamson of the County of Wayne and state of Indiana being weeke in body and strong in mind and memory do make and ordain this to be my last will and testament, hereby make void all other heretofore maid be mee. First I will and bequeath to all the heirs of my son David Adamson fifty cents.
Second I also will and bequeath to my son Isaac Adamson, fifty cents
Thirdly I will and bequeath to my Daughter Margaret Williams fifty cents
