Abel married Sarah Stout, 12 Feb 1828. I doubt that he died on the same day as his sister Susannah on 11 Aug 1840 - likely one of these is wrong. His will was written in 1833 and he probably died sometime afterwards. The Wayne Co Will Book did not give a probate date.

August 7th, 1833
I Abel Adamson of the County of Wayne and State of Indiana do ordain and decree this to be my last Will and Testament and 1st I bequeath to my well beloved wife Sixty acres of land on the north side of my land, with all the crop thereon for the use and support of herself and my three beloved children together, with all the household and kitchen furniture, cattle and so forth this She is to have for this use and purpose before mentioned as long as she remains my widow, and after, that the land to be equally divided between my three children, and 2. the other twenty acres of land together with one horse and part of waggon and some oats to be sold to pay my debts. And lastly I appoint Aaron Adamson my lawful executor to execute this my last will and testimony.

Rebecca Howell of Nettle Creek, Wayne Co, died 10 Sep 1900 of pneumonia. She was age 70 years, 3 months, 13 days (maybe - difficult to read). Her father was Abel Adamson, her mother Sarah Stout - both born in North Carolina. Buried Sep 12th in the Little creek Cemetery. Informant was Abel Howell.
