Obituary
LEVANT - Cecil H. Hodgdon, 69, of this town died Jan. 15, in a Bangor hospital. He was born in Bangor, Nov. 16, 1902, the son of Braighton and Bula (Leach) Hodgdon, and was a member of the Kenduskeag Masonic Lodge and a former member of the Minerva Grange of Levant. Mr. Hodgdon had lived in Bangor and Orono before retiring in 1965, after 30 years with the Rudman Beverage Co., Bangor, where he was a foreman and superintendent of maintenance. He is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Thomas (Vivian) Sutton of Florida, Mrs. Ralph (Ellen) Redmond and Mrs. Pauline Brown, both of Orono; four brothers, Roland A. of Exeter, Homer L. of Bangor, Leon E. of Orono and Thayne I. of Auburn; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Clark-Mitchell Funeral Home, 299 Union St., Bangor, where Masonic Service will be conducted by the Kenduskeag Lodge, today at 7:30 p.m. Friends may call at the funeral home this afternoon and evening.Endnotes
