MANCHESTER - Sutton, Vivian H., 78, died in Augusta hospital May 25. She was the wife of Thomas E. Sutton of Manchester. Born March 22, 1895, in Levant, the daughter of Bright and Beulah (Leach) Hodgdon. She was a member of the Study Club in Riverside and the Maine Federation of Women's Clubs. Surviving, besides her husband, are two sisters, Mrs. Pauline Brown and Mrs. Helen Redman, both of Orono; three brothers, Thayne Hodgdon of South Auburn, Roland Hodgdon of Exeter and Leon Hodgdon of Stillwater; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at the Harvard H. Clark Funeral Home, 55 South Main St., Brewer, Monday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Gordon J. Svoboda officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Brewer. Visiting hours: Saturday 7-9 p.m. and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.Endnotes
