My major family surnames that I tend to focus on are MOWER, VICKERY, RICHARDSON, GIBBS, HASEY, WEBSTER, GOULD, WYMAN, PARKER, BEMIS, TERRILL, GRANT, DOW and ESTABROOK.
Included here as well is the genealogical research I have done on my wife's lines. Patti's major surnames are GILBERT, THEBEAU, BOLDUC, THIBODEAU, DUNPHY, VOUTOUR, ROBICHAUD and LOGAN.
Before you venture in, a note about "perfection." I have heard many a family researcher over the years say that they will publish and present their work when they feel it has become 100% perfect. I'm going to tell you right up front, that I do not subscribe to that notion - my therapist would actually prefer if I don't strive for perfection in any area of my life. Plus, if I wait for perfection as it exists in my mind, no one would ever see any of this. With that said, the work presented here is in the best form I can have it at the present time. It is in a constant state of review and revision. I am diligently working to make sure that my sources for information are included, so you can feel free to review those yourself. Some items may not yet have a source connected. Venture forth at your own risk on this - no, seriously, if you have questions on those items, please feel free to ask and I will revisit those sooner rather than later.
Second, I did import my Grant researcher from a different software program and it got a little messed up. I chipping away at cleaning that up, but it is a HUGE family. If you find yourself looking at a descendant of William and Ann Maidstone (Hillman) Grant and something doesn't look right, please let me know.
