The following is from a letter to EHI from Jody Fishencord in 1986:"My Grandmother, Ethel Hannah Isaacson Heckman died July 26, 1983 at the age of 81. When she was in her late 70's I tried to find out information on her family, but she could not remember much. She said that Harris Isaacson was a Russian Jew with straight blonde hair. She said he came from Russia when he was 15 and another time she said Harris was 10. He took a job as a dry goods salesman. Bessie Schmidt had black curly hair; her father was a Hebrew teacher in Germany [Prussia]. My grandma also said that Bessie's Moms brother was a doctor in a big hospital in Germany."
Germany is most likely Prussia and probably Koenigsberg. Sarah Isaacson Roller said that he was an "eye" doctor.
