About 16 people were present for Art's funeral services at Willow River Cemetery on September 30th. Rev. Crow said he had not known Art personally and asked if any of those present who had known him wanted to say a few words. Stan Beggs, who had gone to school with Art, recalled a quiet person, a good friend, and a good football and basketball player. Another recalled him as a fisherman, and another recalled "a darn good neighbor". (NH)
