Funeral services for Mrs. Carl E. Olson, 503 St. Croix St., were Monday at Bethel Lutheran church with the Rev. Norman Scheide officiating.
Interment was in Willow River cemetery. Arrangements were by Burke Funeral Hme.
She is survived by her husband, Carl, of Hudson, a son, Byron Neher of Hudson, a sister, Miss Zelma Lmnes; three brothers, Alex and Philip Lomnes of Hudson and Elmer Lomnes of Bayport, and two grandchildren, Winfield and Timothy Neher of Hudson.
A sister, Mrs. Marie S. Hanson, formerly of Bllings, Mont., died suddenly in 1961.
Martha Lomnes was born in Hudson, Aug. 13, 1888, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Lomnes.
She received her education in the Hudson public schools and business college in St. Paul.
She worked in Minneapolis for a time and then transferred to Billings, Mont. where she married Winfield Neher. Mr. Meher died in a railroad accident in 1917.
Later Mrs. Neher moved to Muncie, Ind. where she was a billing clerk for the United Fruit company for many years.
She married Carl E. Olson of Fergus Falls, Minn., formerly of Hudson, in 1949. They lived in Fergus Falls for a short time before moving to their present home in Hudson in 1950.
Mrs. Olson was a member of the Bethel Lutheran church.
She suffered a stroke in January 1955 but was able to do light tasks about the house for about a year. Subsequent strokes weakened her condition to such an extent she became a confined invalid. She died at her home Thursday, Oct. 3.
