Funeral Services for Mary Krattley Held Last Friday
Funeral services for Miss Mary Krattley were held from St. Patrick's church at 9 o'clock last Friday morning, June 3, Rev. Father Peter Rice officiating. Interment was made in the Catholic cemetery here.
Mary Krattley, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Krattley, was born in the town of Hudson on December 26, 1887, where she spent most of her life on the family homestead. She attended grade and high schools in Hudson and was graduated here with the class of 1907.
She succumbed on Wednesday morning, June 1, at her home after a long illness. Death was due to heart trouble.
She is survived by a sister and eight brothers. They are Martina, John, August, William, George, Frank, Fabian, Ted and Joseph Krattley.
Mary Krattley was a member of the pioneer families of this community and her untimely death is mourned not only by the surviving brothers and sisters but by the many friends of her family.
