Death
RICHMOND — Oscar G. Furr Sr., 82, died at his home here on Monday (Feb. 4, 1980). He was born April 16, 1898, son of William A. and Belle (Croft) Furr. Surviving are four daughters Mrs. Elizabeth Flemming of Atlanta, N.C., Helen Hargrave of Newport News and Mary Alice Breeden and Rebecca Jane Breeden of Staunton; one son, Oscar E. Furr Jr. of Richmond; one sister, Mrs. H.O. Fitzgerald of Staunton; nine grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Burial was at Signal Hill, Richmond.The Daily News Leader, Staunton, Virginia, February 10, 1980
