Death
Mary Alice Breeden, 91, widow of Robert Lee Breeden, of Fishersville, passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at Augusta Health in Fishersville. Mrs. Breeden was born in Fishersville, Virginia, on September 18, 1930, a daughter of the late Oscar G. Furr Sr. and Ethel (Bradley) Furr. Mary was a member of Olivet Presbyterian Church. She retired after 25 years of service at G.E./Genicom as a Relay Tech and loved spending time with her family. In addition to her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by a brother, Oscar G. Furr Jr. and two sisters, Rebecca Breeden and Helen R. Hargrave. Surviving, is a daughter, Pamela B. Mizer and her husband, Gary, of Waynesboro; a sister, Elizabeth Fleming of Pine Knoll Shores, North Carolina; a grandchild, Kelly M. Cash and her husband, Ben, of Fishersville; two great-grandchildren, Rylee M. Cash and Carson W. Cash; and a number of nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at Augusta Memorial Park in Waynesboro, by the Reverend William Trice. Those choosing to pay their respects may do so from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.
