Death
Buena Vista, Sept. 15 — Word has been received here of the death of Bernard B. Furr, 56, at the Veterans hospital of Phoebus, Monday. He had been an invalid for a number of years. He was the son of the late Edward M. and Mrs. Sarah Furr of Augusta county, and is survived by his wife, who was Miss Ada Miller, Augusta county and the following sisters and brothers: Mrs. W. N. Key, Buena Vista; Mrs. N. C. Bailey and Mrs. J. C. Cleveland, Staunton; Mrs. D. L. Myers, Amherstdale, W. Va.; C. C. Furr, Broad Run; D. D. Furr, East Lexington; F. F. Furr, Waynesboro; E. E. Furr, Charleston, W. Va.; and A. C. Furr, Staunton. Burial will be at Thorn Rose cemetery, Staunton, Wednesday.Rockbridge County News, Lexington, Virginia, September 17, 1936
