Death
Aaron E. Furr, 79, of Rt. 2, Concord, died at his home Monday at 10 p. m. after an illness of several months. Mr. Furr, born in Cabarrus County, was engaged in the real estate business. The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon at 5 o'clock at Mr. Furr’s home. He will be buried in Concord Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, the former Jo Ella Kimray; six sons, Carl Furr of Salisbury, James Furr of Wilmington, Zeb Furr of Wilmington, Charlie Furr of Concord, Walter Furr of Concord, and Dan Furr of Asheville; one daughter, Mrs. Estelle Swain of Southport; one brother, 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.The Salisbury Post, Salisbury, North Carolina, June 21, 1949
