Death
Mrs. Bethany Furr, 72, widow of the late Daniel Furr died at her home in this county last Monday. She is survived by 7 daughters, Misses, Maggie, Annie, Berry, Josephine, who lived at the old home, Mrs. Adam Furr and Mrs. Marshall Furr of the county and Mrs. John Page of Albemarle, 45 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. The funeral was conducted from Bear Creek church by Revs. Treece and Helms of the Primitive Baptist church, and interment followed in the church cemetery.Stanly News and Press, Albemarle, North Carolina, February 27, 1925
