Death
Final Rites Held for Miss A. Furr. Sixty-Five Year Old Woman Died At Sister's Home on Saturday. Funeral services for Miss Annie Furr, 65, were conducted at Bear Creek Baptist church Monday morning at 11 o'clock, and burial was in the church cemetery. Miss Furr died at the home of a sister, Mrs. M.A. Furr, of New London, route 1, Saturday afternoon at 6 o'clock after an illness of one week. Miss Furr was a native of Stanly county, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Furr. She is survived by two brothers, Berry and Philip Furr, and three sisters, Mrs. Adam Furr, Mrs. John Page, and Mrs. M.A. Furr, all of this county.Endnotes
