Friends will be sorry to learn of Howard L. ‘‘Pete’’ Furr’s accidental death which occurred last week in Monroe. Pete was cleaning a gun when it discharged. He was a former insurance agent here in Ferriday, while his wife taught school.The Concordia Sentinel, Vidalia, Louisiana, August 18, 1966
