BOSSIER CITY LA - Vivian Bernice Bledsoe, 98 passed away Monday September 18 2006 at Willis Knighton Bossier after a brief illness She was born December 6, 1907 in Wesson, MS and grew up in Wisner LA She was a retired secretary with F&H Tubing in Bossier City. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 20, 2006 at Rose Neath' s Bossier Chapel with Rev Justin Haigler officiating. Burial will follow at Old Fillmore Cemetery in Haughton, LA Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time at 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Bledsoe was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, L. M. Bledsoe, one sister and five brothers. She is survived by her brother, Lucian Furr and wife, Lulabe of Bossier City, LA; sister, Jean Cloy and husband Jarvis of Baton Rouge, LA; brother, Robert H. Furr and wife, Joan of New Braunfels, TX and many special nieces and nephews as well as many friends who all loved her very much. Her nephews will serve as pallbearers. Mrs. Bledsoe was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bossier for 68 years and an active member of the Diamond Set. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Bossier Building Fund, 2810 E.
