Death

On Saturday evening, May 2nd, the death angel visited the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lucian Furr of Wisner and took from their happy group one of their children, Wylie Furr. Wylie was 15 years of age; a member of the Central Baptist church since 1928 and was dearly loved by all who knew him. He had been ill for some time with pneunomia. He attended Wisner school and through all his illness his class never ceased to be thoughful of him, sending him messages of cheer day after day. Interment was made at Central Baptist church cemetery Sunday, May 3rd at 4 p. m., a host of friends and relatives attending. Besides his family, he leaves a host of class-mates and friends to mourn his death. Dear family, we know how hard it is to give up one of our loved ones, but we must always remember His words: “It is not the end, but the beginning of life.” He is just waiting for his loved ones to join him where parting is unknown.
