Death
Mrs. Martha Furr Rinehardt, 82 of Route 2, Stanfield, died Wednesday night in Monroe. Born December 18, 1887, in Stanly County, she was the daughter of the Nelson and Jane Drye Furr. Her husband, R. V. P. Rinehardt, preceded her in death. She was a member of Kinza Baptist Church where funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. by Rev. Don Ingle, assisted by Rev. John H. Connell and Rev. L. A. Faulkenbury. Interment will be in the church cemetery. She is survived by two sons, Heath R. Rinehardt and Walter P. Rinehardt, both of Stanfield; four daughters, Mrs. Dessie Hill, Mrs. Preston Edwards and Mrs. Wilburn Kincaid, all of Stanfield, and Mrs. McLean Morgan of Locust; two brothers, Willie Furr of Locust and Ralph Furr of Stanfield; five sisters, Miss Zora Furr, Mrs. Paul Talley and Mrs. Edna Osborne, all of Stanfield; Mrs. Zeb Springer of Oakboro, and Mrs. Nell Hathcock of Kannapolis; 10 grand children and three great- grandchildren. The body will remain at Hart sell Funeral Home in Midland until taken to the church to lie in state for 30 minutes prior to the hour of service. The family was scheduled to receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.Stanly News and Press, Albemarle, North Carolina, December 12, 1969
