Death
Thilous Crone Furr, 75, died at 6:30 A. M. today at his home in Midland after an illness of three years. Mr. Furr was a member of the Mill Grove Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nettie Jane Furr; five daughters, Mrs. Gladys Green and Mrs. Lee Perry of Midland, Mrs. Edith Thomas of Concord, Mrs. Mac Hagler of Monroe, and Mrs. Leacy Baker of Raleigh: eight sons, Floyd Furr of Monroe, O. B. Furr and Clifford Furr of Midland, Juddy Furr of Charlotte, Leonard Furr, Johnson Furr, Norman Furr, and E. K. Furr, all in the armed forces; a sister, Mrs. Bob Swerangan of Fairview: and a brother, J. F. Furr of Midland. Funeral plans are incomplete.The Charlotte News, Charlotte, North Carolina, June 8, 1944
