Death
The remains of Mr. N. F. Furr, who died in El Paso,Texas, last Friday night, arrived here Wednesday night and the funeral service was conducted Thursday at 2.30 o'clock at Main street Methodist church. The service was conducted by Rev. E. L. Bain, former pastor of Main Street, and Rev. W. R. Ware, present pastor. A high tribute was paid to the excellent character and life of Mr. Furr, who was formerly in business here. The father of the deceased, Mr. A. M. Furr, and four brothers, Messrs. J. A., J. W., T. M. and M. M. Furr, together with a cousin, Mr. C M. Widenhouse, all of Concord, were present at the funeral.
