Bonham, Texas -- Graveside services for Ruth Bellows Simer, age 88, will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, Nov. 25, 2004 in Carson Cemetery under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. Mr. Wayne Johnson, Pastor of Ector Church of Christ, will officiate. Mrs. Simer passed away Sunday, November 21, 2004 at Wilson N. Jones Medical Center in Sherman. Ruth Bellows Simer was born November 19, 1916 in Durant, Oklahoma. She was the tenth of twelve children born to Archie Lee Bellows and Etta Victoria Taylor Bellows. She was a graduate of Savoy High School and attended a business college. Mrs. Simer married Charles Malcolm Simer in Bonham. She was a member of Ector Church of Christ for many years. Mrs. Simer was a PBX operator for MK&T Railroad. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She is survived by: 3 Daughters: Eugenia Simer and Jackie Collins and husband, Edward, all of Denison, Saleta Northcutt of Collinsville. Grandchildren: Brad and Michelle Collins and daughter Mallory and Chance and April Collins and daughters, Kyann and Kinley, all of Anchorage, Alaska; D. J. Dodson of Callisberg, TX; Gabriella and Michael Young and son, Tanner and Christina Nolen and son, Landon, all of Whitesboro; and Justin and Traci Rhodes of Iowa Park, TX. Brother: Wayne Bellows of Nevada, TX. Sisters: Marie Johnson and Iverna Wilson, both of Ector. The family will receive friends at Wise Funeral Home from 7:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday night.
