Sherman Herald Democrat, March 30, 2007: Ector - Iverna May Wilson of Ector, 96-year-old retired seamstress, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2007 at Mullican Care Center. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 30 at Mullican-Little Funeral Chapel in Bells/ Savoy. Mr. Wayne Johnson of Ector Church of Christ will officiate. Burial will follow at Carson Cemetery in Ector. Mrs. Wilson was born on June 10, 1910 in Frisco, Texas, daughter of Archie Lee and Etta Taylor Bellows. She married Leo Ray Wilson on Sept. 21, 1926 in Frisco. She was a seamstress and worked at Union Steward and the Denison Cotton Mill. She was a member of the Ector Church of Christ. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Mrs. Wilson is survived by her son, Danny Wilson of LaFeria, Texas; daughters and their husbands, Iverna and Billy Waggoner and Alice and Joe Chat Beazley, all of Ector, and Rebecca and David Clark of Whitewright; Ray Wilson Jr. of Ector and Clint Wilson of Bonham, whom she raised as her own children; sister, Marie Johnson of Ector; 16 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Wilson; children, Pat Ray Wilson Sr., Sue Taylor and Joel Wilson; seven brothers and three sisters; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
