list father as Kanaloaikaiwilewa. Fornander suggests that he may be the same as Kanaloakapulehu, but also wrote: "His pedigree is not given in any genealogy or legend that I have met with, but he was probably a descendant of Lonoikamakahiki's brother with the same name" (p 129).
Conflict: McKinzie, Hawaiian Genealogies, vol 2 p 101 lists father as Kanaloahanauikawela, son of Lonoikamakahiki and Kaikilanimaipanio.
Conflict: Ka Nupepa Kuokoa, 30 July 1864, p 4, Moolelo Kuauhau o ka hanauna o na'lii mai ka po mai a puka mai i ka Moi Kamehameha V (signed P.S. Pakele) lists mother as Keakamahana.
