Conflict: Pukui, Hawaiian Genealogies, p 91,92. lists parents as Keawe (k) and Ka-lani-nui-ahi-okooko (w), both children of Kanaloa-pulehu.
Conflict: Kamakau, Tales and Traditions of the People of Old, p 71 and McKinzie, Hawaiian Genealogies, vol 2 p 101 lists only 2 children, which does not include Kekuiapoiwa Nui. and Pratt, Keoua: Father of Kings, p 9 states that Keeaumokunui had an only sister, Kekelanui.
Conflict: "See the first history written by Mr. Dibble and David Malo and other pupils at Lahainaluna in 1835. Ulu-maheihei and 'Auwae denied Ke-ku'i-apo-iwa's descent from Keawe" (Kamakau, Ruling Chiefs of Hawaii, p 392).
